ON THE EDGE OF THE RIVER PIEDRA I sat and I cried

"Pilar and his companion are known in childhood, distant during adolescence, and now they find themselves eleven years later. Both are united by the desire to change and pursue their dreams. To achieve this, they need to overcome many obstacles to give fear, feelings of guilt, prejudice. They decided to visit a small village in the Pyrenees to discover their own truth ... If narrates poetry, dialogues and very modern, a romantic encounter, Paulo Coellho also plunges us into the mysteries of divinity. For, he reminds, the spiritual experience is above all an experience of love "

If you do not know PAULO COELHO, I suggest you start with THE ALCHEMIST (his bestseller) for you in the mood of his novels, and avoid MANUAL LIGHT WARRIOR. Otherwise, it is very readable, even if sometimes I feel that Coehlo use ellipses too many of his philosophical ...

HYGIENE OF THE ASSASSIN

"The announcement of the imminent death of Pretextatus Tach, Nobel Prize for Literature, misanthropic and obese, is generating unprecedented interest among journalists worldwide. Few people have the privilege to approach the great man, the first four, betrayed by their incompetence and conceit, are turned away crudely: the first is pinned to his stupidity, the second, nauseated, leaking the story of orgies Tash ritual, the other two do not escape the vexations more orchestrated jubilation; only Nina, by his perfect knowledge of the work of the writer, faced up to contempt and sadism displayed by Tach and both then engage in a duel to the barbed, which will bring the writer to unfold and reveal its surprising past ... reads a little too "Maupassant" for my taste except for nothomb that does not seem to know how to finish his work ... normal, it begins even before a finished the previous one (nb the impressive output / year compared to ' other authors)

By what you hear: "Maupassant," that is crying in the cottages?

Yes, but you will agree that Nothomb's novels are rather atypical ... where did you read?
