There are a couple of weeks we went to Alsace (not far from my native Vosges) to visit a few corners.
You will find in this post some pictures on our various visits!
We started with the beautiful city of RIQUEWIHR ( http://www.ribeauville-riquewihr.com/ ) Here are some pictures:

We then went to the Monkey Mountain where baboons roam freely on 24 acres in forest. We can approach them and give them popcorn:

Yes, indeed we were not far from the castle of Haut-Koenisbourg, just off the mountain monkeys, and eagles robberies ...
It will be for next time.

LOL quite agree with you of the Alsace ca worth seeing, in the good food + wine is excellent good year for you two Garéoult j-rock / christelle
